In what has left the self-proclaimed millionaire Khalif Kairo on the receiving end, Hon Francis Kimemia, the former governor of Nyandarua County, has been accused of laundering county funds through him (Khalif Kairo) an individual who couldn’t pay his rent after falling out with former IBK members.
According to the allegations, Kimemia, who had a significant amount of cash he needed to launder, was at odds with the government at the time. Meanwhile, Kairo, facing severe financial difficulties, became the perfect pawn in Kimemia’s elaborate plan.
“Kairo was to be appointed CEC Youth and Sports Department had Kimemia retained the seat. Unfortunately, he lost and later approached him to help launder the stolen county funds by setting up Kai and Karo car yard,” Stillbill wrote on X (formerly Twitter) today.
The series of tweets, which have gone viral, outline a detailed scheme where Kimemia used his influence and the ill-gotten money to assist Kairo in establishing a car business in Kilimani.
The plan was executed meticulously. The former governor’s cash was funneled through Kairo, who then set up the “Kai and Karo” car yard, a business that masked the illegal transactions. This partnership was mutually beneficial; Kairo received the funds he desperately needed, while Kimemia successfully laundered his money under the guise of a legitimate business operation.
This development confidentially and interestingly comes at a time when Kenyand have continued to descend on Businessman Khalif Kairo and accusing him of hijacking the Gen Z demos to fulfill his selfish ambitions.
Kairo, alongside other influential figures on X have been accused of pocketing millions of money from Govt operatives to discredit the ongoing Gen Z demos ,that has seen Pres William Ruto and his KK administration sent to the drawing board.
Also, there are concerns that Khalif Kairo is one of the figures who has been working with the police and undercovers to execute arrest on anyone perceived as supporter of ongoing Gen Z demos.
Shame on him!
