Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu has dismissed rumours that her baby daddy, popular Kikuyu musician Samidoh, was in Mombasa with another woman over the weekend. Nyamu, who recently gave birth to Samidoh’s second son, said that she and the singer know the truth about their relationship and that they are not bothered by the online gossip.

Nyamu and Samidoh have been the subject of controversy since their affair was exposed last year, causing a rift between the singer and his wife Edith Nderitu. The two have since reconciled and Samidoh has vowed to take care of both his families.

However, some netizens have accused Nyamu of forcing herself on Samidoh and trying to ruin his marriage. They claimed that Nyamu followed Samidoh to Mombasa, where he had a show at the Mbaraki Sports Club on Saturday, and that she was flaunting her lavish lifestyle on social media to spite his wife.

Nyamu, who is also a lawyer and a politician, posted several videos on her Instagram stories showing her at a golf course and a hotel room at the English Point Marina, where she enjoyed some snacks and drinks. She did not show Samidoh in any of her clips, leading to speculation that they were together or that he had ditched her for another woman.

Nyamu, however, rubbished the claims and said that she was in Mombasa for a work-related trip and that she had fun with her friends. She also said that Samidoh was not with another woman and that they are in good terms.

“Baba Nimu and I know the truth. We are not moved by the lies and propaganda. We are happy and we love our son. He is not with anyone else. He is a responsible man and a loving father. He supports me and his wife equally. Let people mind their own business,” Nyamu said in an interview with TUKO.co.ke.
