Former Mukurweini Member of Parliament Hon. Kabando Wa Kabando has, on June 16, flatly opposed the idea that the likes of CS Kuria, CS Kindiki, Waiguru, and Farouk, among others, could be having personal tiffs with Deputy President Hon. Rigathi Gachagua.

Taking to his X handle, Hon. Kabando went on to claim that all these leaders attacking the second in command are simply President William Ruto’s microphones, and nothing could be further from the truth than that it is Ruto who is sending them.

“It’s not Farouk, Wetangula, CS Duale, Itumbi, Ichung’wa, Kuria, Osoro, or Waiguru fighting Rigathi. Most of these leaders are my friends (or were they?), and I know them well, particularly Duale, Kuria, and Ichung’wa. The bitter truth is that these voices are Ruto’s – he wants Rigathi OUT!” Kabando wrote on X.

Yesterday, Kimani Ichung’wa, Aden Duale, and other leaders claimed Deputy President Hon. Rigathi Gachagua is out to sabotage the government of President William Ruto.

At the same time, DP Gachagua has said that he will maintain his famed “honest man” mantra and he will always strive to voice the truth to the Kenyan electorates.

He likewise urged Kenyans to support President William Ruto’s ambitions to salvage the dipping economy under his economic transformation agenda.

“Pray for our president to get wisdom and courage to lead our country, especially on the economic transformation in this country. Continue praying for our country,” he said.

“Also remember me because you know I am a truthful and honest man. Pray for me that I continue being truthful and honest.”

This comes amid political ridicule meted at Gachagua as he has accused leaders affiliated with President Ruto of creating cold blood between him and the president.
