As the 2022 general elections approach, politicians all over the country are putting forth their agendas and pledges in an attempt to earn votes from Kenyans. As a result, opinion surveys are done on a regular basis to determine the differences between Raila Odinga and William Ruto who happen to be main competitors.
Moses Kuria, a Gatundu member of Parliament, issued his opinion survey, which he does every general election which includes voter turnout. Even though he is a member of the Kenya Kwanza Coalition, the situation on the ground has clearly changed according to his opinion poll results.
According to his survey, William Samoei Ruto is the most popular candidate, receiving 10,578,553 votes, or 61.36 percent of the total votes cast. Raila Odinga is in second place, with 6,562,441 votes, or 38.64 percent of the total ballots cast. Moses has encouraged Kenyans to keep the findings and compare them to the results of the general elections on August 9th.
The 2022 elections are approaching, and two powerful candidates, William Ruto and Uhuru Kenyatta, will compete for the president. Kenya Kwanza looks to have broken into two groups, one led by Rigathi Gachagua in the Rift Valley and the other led by William Ruto in the central and coastal counties. Mudavadi’s third faction is in charge of the western counties.
Moses Kuria, a Kiambu County gubernatorial candidate, has released the results of a presidential survey he and his team performed yesterday with figures showing how many people voted and who they are likely to elect as president in 47 counties.
Furthermore, the polls indicated the total number of votes Ruto and Raila would receive, as well as the percentage of votes they would cast. DP Ruto won the election with over 10 million votes, while Raila came in second with 6 million votes. According to William Ruto, the second-term legislator, the August elections will be won by him with over 10 million votes.
