A young man was abducted in broad daylight on Friday afternoon in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado County, in an incident that has left the local community shaken.

According to blogger Cyprian Nyakundi, the victim was forcibly taken by armed men in a Suzuki sedan, registration number KCS 079K, as he went about his day.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing the men, who appeared to be in control, swiftly overpowering the man and driving off without any attempt to hide their actions.

This disturbing abduction comes at a time when politically motivated disappearances are becoming an alarming trend in Kenya.

Many are now fearful that such acts are being carried out against those perceived to be opposed to the government of President William Ruto.

Over recent months, a rising number of similar incidents have been reported, leading to widespread concern about the safety of citizens who dare to speak out or stand in opposition.

The abduction has sparked outrage among local residents, many of whom feel increasingly vulnerable as political tensions escalate.

Some witnesses spoke of hearing the man cry out for help, but the attackers were quick to flee the scene, leaving the community helpless.

The incident has brought back painful memories of previous disappearances that many believe were politically motivated.

Despite mounting public outcry, the government has yet to make any formal statement regarding the abduction or the broader issue of forced disappearances.

Human rights groups have expressed their concerns, calling on the authorities to investigate the growing number of such incidents, while urging the government to protect its citizens from what appears to be a deliberate pattern of intimidation.
