Raila Odinga and his allies have been touring the Western area in search of votes for the past three days. The residents of Trans Nzoia today showed their excitement and jubilation as they welcomed Raila Odinga and his allies, who are now in the area holding multiple rallies.

Raila Odinga was greeted like a king, with inhabitants of Trans Nzoia shouting Azimio shouts as they celebrated Raila and his associates. Here are some images of Raila Odinga and his allies enjoying a warm welcome from the people of Trans Nzoia.

Thousands of Azimio coalition members are currently attending Raila’s demonstration, as shown in the image above. Raila was also required to greet residents before beginning their day’s agenda.

This could be a major setback for Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula, as evidenced by the large crowds Raila drew during his campaigning in the Western region. We estimate that the Azimio coalition will receive more than 80% of the vote in the Western region.

Raila is travelling the vote-rich districts of Trans Nzoia county today as part of another charm offensive mission to Western Kenya.

Raila staged a massive event in Sibanga trading center, where hundreds of voters flocked to listen to him, accompanied by several members of Parliament connected to his Azimio outfit and his gubernatorial race choice George Natembeya.

The gathering in Sibanga gathered large throngs of fans who couldn’t contain their joy as Raila walked into town. They yelled and screamed Azimio-related slogans nonstop to indicate their support for Raila’s presidential campaign.

Raila couldn’t disguise his delight as he expressed surprise with a moment of silence when he saw the size of the audience that had gathered for his rally. Raila began with “Haiya! Haiya!” before going silent and waving at the crowd.

Raila jumped back, “Ahsante! Ahsante!” as he fought to find the appropriate words to start his speech. Raila regained his composure later, promising not to disappoint his supporters if he is elected Kenya’s fifth president.
