Man Walks Into a Police Station, Beats Cops, And Then Walks Out Free Style

Kangema police station in Murang’a was the epicenter of unbelievable drama this morning when a daring Goon armed to the core stormed a piece station, recorded a statement of alleged land grabbing, and instead walking out forced his way to the counter where he reportedly attacked two police officers who were recording statements before hurriedly walking out of the premises.

According to the reports verified by Mambo Mseto, The officers were rushed to Bliss Hospital in Murang’a for specialized treatment while the 59-year-old suspect was taken into custody.

The incident highlights the extent to which thieves have become daring while committing crimes.

According to the latest data, 97,301 crimes were reported to the police countrywide in the full year ended December 2023, an increase compared to 85,539 reported the previous year.

All the same, cases of police officers being attacked while on duty have escalated in the recent past with Interior CS Kithure Kindiki warning those who will be found culpable.

The development comes barely 3 days after another local publication reported that Nakuru town was brought to a standstill after police and a suspected that were engaged in an highway chase that left one thug dead while the other 2 escaped the arrest with serious gunshots injuries.

According to the report, the drama sparked when police on patrol responded to the cry of a woman who has been robbed of her money, mobile phones and other valuables. On noting that police were on their radar, the thugs ambushed an innocent motorist, threw him out of the car and sped off with hopes of evading the police dragnet.

The money, and mobile phones that had been stolen from the businesswoman were recovered and returned back to the owner after the due process was followed. Incidences of crime have been on the rise recently even as unemployment rate has continued to skyrocket.
