The Agnes Kagure Foundation has kicked off 2025 with a renewed focus on empowerment, pledging to roll out programs that uplift women, equip the youth with skills, and empower boys to play an active role in promoting equality.
Through a statement via its Facebook page, the foundation highlighted its commitment to fostering inclusion and creating opportunities for positive transformation.
“A new year means new opportunities to make a difference! This year, the Agnes Kagure Foundation is committed to creating impactful empowerment programs that uplift women, nurture youth, and ensure boys are not left behind,” the statement read.
The foundation, led and founded by Nairobi businesswoman Agnes Kagure, is known for championing pro-Nairobians empowerment programs.
Kagure, a prominent advocate for socio-economic development, has consistently focused on initiatives that benefit the city’s residents, particularly women and youth.
The foundation’s 2025 strategy includes leadership initiatives for women, vocational training for the youth, and mentorship programs for boys to ensure no one is left out of the development agenda.
Agnes Kagure, the foundation’s founder, emphasised the need for collective action to achieve meaningful change. “Let’s make 2025 a year of action, inclusion, and transformation. The future belongs to all of us—let’s build it together,” she said.
The foundation’s work has been widely recognised for creating opportunities that empower communities, particularly in Nairobi and its surrounding areas. This year, they plan to scale up their efforts to reach more people and deliver lasting impact.
As the new year begins, all eyes are on how the foundation will implement its ambitious plans. Many believe its inclusive approach could serve as a model for addressing socio-economic challenges across the country.
The Agnes Kagure Foundation has called on stakeholders, including local leaders and private organisations, to join hands in ensuring 2025 becomes a year of real progress for all.
