Investigations into the murder of Kasipul MP Charles Ong’ondo Were have taken a different turn following the arrest of a board member from the Lake Basin Development Authority (LBDA). According to reports, the suspect promised the killers that they would not be arrested, claiming that the planners of the murder were well-connected officials.
Detectives recovered a pistol suspected to have been used in the murder of the MP during a major police operation in Chokaa, Kayole.
