In what has left many Kenyans, if not all, filling in the gaps, activist Jumuiyan is reportedly no more.
His death, which came just hours after he made a controversial post about the passing of MP Beatrice Elachi’s son, has sparked heated discussions, theories, and unanswered questions.
For instance, Jumuiyan’s last X post was blunt, almost dismissive of the pain Elachi was going through.
“The only support we can give Beatrice Elachi is by finishing all the food they’ll cook at her son’s funeral,” he wrote at exactly 5:29 PM.
The X post exploded with reactions. Some found it dark humor, others labeled it outright insensitive. But now, in hindsight, it is not just the tweet that is raising eyebrows. It is what followed.

A user by the name Muya, known on X as @geeklythoughts, had something to say in response.
His words now read like a script from a suspense thriller. “I’ll mark this post for when we attend a burial in your homestead because you’re clearly celebrating the death of one of our ranks.”
At the time, it may have seemed like just another heated exchange. But hours later, Jumuiyan was gone.
The timing of his death has left a lingering unease in the air. No official cause has been released, but the coincidence is too heavy for many to ignore.
Was it a twist of fate, or did he unknowingly sign off on his own final chapter?
Now, Kenyans are left questioning everything. Some say it was just a tragic turn of events, nothing more. Others are not so sure.
One thing is certain, though. Jumuiyan’s last words and the chilling reply from Muya will not be forgotten any time soon.
Below are some of the reactions of what Kenyans on X had to say regarding elachi’s son death.

Okenagwa- @geeklythoughts needs to be looked into! He shouldn’t be announcing someone’s death and then passing away within 24 hours—rest in peace @Jumuiyan This happened after Jumuiyan expressed joy over the death of Beatreace Erachi’s son.
