As 2024 comes to an end, Nairobi-based political leader and businesswoman Agnes Kagure has shared her thoughts on the year, which she describes as a mix of both challenges and triumphs.
In her message, Kagure speaks about the importance of resilience. “This year, like life itself, has been full of victories and lessons, highs and lows,” she said.

She highlighted that growth often comes with struggle, and while progress may sometimes feel slow, every little step forward counts.
“For every obstacle we faced, there was a lesson to learn, and for every setback, an opportunity to rise again.”
Kagure’s words reflect the tough times many people in Kenya have faced this year, yet she remains hopeful about the future.
She calls 2024 a year of “comebacks,” where despite the challenges, people have found ways to bounce back stronger.

Looking ahead, Kagure is optimistic about what’s to come. “As we say goodbye to this year, we do so with hope, knowing that the efforts we’ve made will eventually pay off,” she said. “The dreams we’ve worked on will soon take flight.”

That notwithsatnding, Agnes Kagure has been a force to reckon in the political arena especially in Nairobi. Those in the know project that she is likely to be the next Nairobi boss come 2027 poll.
This is because she has been undertaking pro-people programs such as Gender Based Violence awareness, delivering aid to the needy and less fortunate in Nairobi, education scholarship among other moves that have left Nairobians yarning for her leadership unlike her peers in the political world who are after their own selfish interests.
